Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to work with one of our key clients. This role is crucial for enhancing the client’s cyber security profile and implementing risk management strategies to safeguard their digital assets. You will serve as a technical expert, collaborating with various teams to deliver robust security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cyber Security Solutions: Provide practical cyber security advice and solutions to ICT staff, project teams, senior management, and key stakeholders.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement information security-related policies, procedures, standards, controls, and strategies across diverse business environments.
• Risk Management: Contribute to network security and vulnerability management to mitigate risks.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to international and local compliance standards.
• Incident Response: Participate in security incident response planning and disaster recovery activities.
• Team Support: Offer coaching and guidance to support best practice and continuous process improvement in security operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in developing and reviewing security artefacts, including policies, operational procedures, and guidelines.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, providing expert security advice and facilitating technical changes.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data-driven insights to inform security decisions and improve project outcomes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Certifications: Highly regarded certifications include CISM, CISSP, OWASP, or CompTIA Security+.
